Street Photography (Color)

My street photographs are an ongoing project documenting my fascination with the visual dichotomies of Manhattan and the fragility of existence as set against the backdrop of the city. It is also a chronicle of my personal relationship with New York City. In all of my photographic work, it is the evanescence, fragility, and fleeting nature of life that I want to capture. While street photography is a different genre, it is with this same perspective that I approach the streets and people around me. In addition to capturing the fragility of existence and moments of beauty as they exist on these streets, this project is also a very personal visual representation of the ways that I have emotionally carried Manhattan.
